Blckb has developed an innovative solution to measuring fatigue using sophisticated eye parameter tracking technology. Building on years of experience in eye tracking analysis in neuromarketing, we at Blckb saw the opportunity to use the data and knowledge to develop a solution to target fatigue, a critical issue in preventing human error for the automotive and medical sectors.

BLCKB worked with the automotive authority of Slovenia, AMZS, to measure fatigue using EEG in the past. First-hand, we demonstrated that fatigue is a major problem, causing up to 20% of vehicle accidents a year. BRNoutID can be applied to the automotive industry to help detect fatigue in drivers and saving up to 90 billion euros in EU traffic accidents. For this solution, BRNoutID was the top five innovation in Germany awarded by the European Space Agency in 2020.

Currently, BRNoutID is being adapted to have applications in the medical sector and alleviate the strain that COVID-19 is causing in hospitals. It can be seamlessly integrated into hospital red zones because it is touchless, easy to use, and offers near real time results. Beyond Covid-19, BRNoutID can help transform hospitals to become safer and better managed for the future.
