Blckb has developed world’s first turnkey EEG platform for large scale early detection of Alzheimer’s dementia that is mobile, easy to use and affordable. The product will empower health professionals who wish to make use of AD biomarkers by providing them with a simple “push-button” method of implementing QEEG-based screening procedures, without necessitating that they themselves become experts in advanced EEG signal acquisition and processing. The product consists of two main components:

Easy-to-use EEG system
ADAM has unique built-in technological and UX features that enable health professionals to record patient’s brain data quickly and accurately with a minimum amount of necessary training. The system is suitable for everyday ambulatory work and would find its place not only in specialised hospitals but also in family physicians’ or general practitioners’ offices as well as in nursing and retirement homes.

Cloud Based analytics
After brain signal is acquired, the data is sent to a cloud analytics server where it is processed by our automated QEEG processing procedures. Alzheimer’s disease detection algorithms are based on the clinical research conducted by University Medical Centre Ljubljana, Department of Neurology.
